According to a posting on the MySpace page of former Cold frontman Scooter Ward's new project The Killer and The Star, the original members of Cold will reunite next year to record a new studio album, tentatively due in the fall of 2009. Cold will also release a collection of b-sides and other rarities early next year via Ward's SonicStar label.
Ward originally announced Cold break-up in February 2006, only to have a change of heart in April of that same year. In November 2006, he once again announced the group's decision to disband, explaining, "We had a great career and played together for over 20 years. We were blessed to make music and let it be heard."
Cold fourth album, "A Different Kind of Pain", was released in August 2005 via Atlantic Records and spawned the single "Happens All the Time."
Ward told Launch Radio Networks in 2005 that he went through all kinds of pain before making the "A Different Kind of Pain" disc: his fiancée left him, he entered rehab, two guitarists departed COLD, and the band split with their label. Worst of all, Ward's sister was given two months to live in a battle with cancer.

So...I just wanted to thank all of you who have enjoyed Cold Stage throughout the years...I know there isnt really any other Cold fan sites out there and its been fun. However it is expensive....the cost of bandwidth is crazy and I never really asked for donations before but if you like what you see and you would like it to remain running...A donation would be appreciated...Its up to you....Id appreciate it though...All money will go back into the site and in the future hopefully a WHEN NOVEMBER FALLS fan site...thanks.

Well its been awhile since ive updated the site...But the COLD army is still running strong and so am I...We are all patiently waiting on Scooter and his beautiful new music. Gone Away (Acoustic) - Well I forgot to add this song to the acoustic section, because I was working on restoring the sound quality...I had finished it awhile back but I guess I forgot to add it to the Audio section...So hear ya go, its just as beautiful as the original version. Well, a little news for all us COLD fans...Scooter Ward has announced that he is still in the writing process for "The Witch" project and should be entering the studio very soon.

Talking to Scooter recently, he informed me that He & Sam plan to enter the studio in a few weeks to start recording material for The Witch! Scooter has said that the "writing is going great, and he can't wait to get into the studio!"
So it's nice to hear that the music is on its way, Rock on!

Some of the best news for COLD fans... Scooter Ward has announced that they will keep the name COLD! .... Scooter Ward - Im not going to change the name of our band. Sam and I have worked to hard for this. We were born cold, we will die COLD.

Well, the new site is up..Basically just a new look and feel..I will be adding more videos and audios soon.
Just wanted to take care of the design part first. As far as news goes, wont be much probably due to COLD not being a band anymore..But this will be a great place for fans all over, and just people who love some good COLD stuff.
I will also be keeping you updated with "THE WITCH" just not enough material/content to launch another fan site yet,

A new message from Scooter, stating that the new BAND's name
will be called "The Witch ", More on this topic below. Former COLD members Scooter Ward (vocals) and Sam McCandless (drums) have set THE WITCH as the name of their new project. No further details are currently available regarding the band's lineup or musical direction.
COLD officially called it quits in February after nearly
a decade as a band. Ward wrote a post on the band's web site titled "The Day the
Music Died," which read in part, "When you put a song out on the radio, it is
what it is. It's a gamble on your life and your career and your hope. People
just didn't react the way we had hoped they would. ... But instead of having
someone tell us that it's over, we choose to tell them instead. We bled on those
tracks and the label just didn't see what they had. The industry today is too
jaded and fake." Ward also hinted that a COLD DVD could be forthcoming.

I have Just learned as of today, COLD has come to an end, I am truly heart broken but will keep the memories and there music alive
forever with COLDSTAGE.com and just throughout life. I look forward to the future and watching Scooter rise to the top again with whatever plans he has
